Dropbox link expiry and password protection require a higher paid Dropbox plan; even then, recipients open a generic file-share page rather than a music-aware EPK.
When should I switch?
You’re pitching to press or playlist curators
Curators get hundreds of pitches a week. A clean listening page beats “here’s a PDF and a Dropbox link.” The first three seconds are music, not a download dialog.
You’re sending unreleased tracks to A&R
Lock the page behind an email allowlist or a password. Set it to expire after 14 days. Turn on an alert for each unlock. Revoke access in one click if a meeting goes sideways.
You want to know whether it got heard
With an invite list, the access log shows which email unlocked the page and when. Listening stats show plays and average completion for each track. Follow up the people who opened it — skip the ones who never did.
