Built by a musician, for musicians
Gatefolded was created by Jasen Samford, a musician and music industry veteran based in Seattle.
Jasen spent over a decade working with thousands of independent artists, helping them navigate releases, promotion, and sharing. During that time, he saw firsthand how artists struggled to share their music professionally, juggling Dropbox links, SoundCloud privates, and link-in-bio tools that weren't designed for musicians.
Gatefolded was built to solve that problem: one link that works for everything, whether you're sharing released music with fans or sending private demos to labels and press.
Jasen still plays in bands (Local Liars, Exohxo, Seattle's Tribute to the Last Waltz, Kye Alfred Hillig, The Ramblin' Years) in Seattle's music scene. Gatefolded is built by someone who actually uses it.
